Who would ever want to talk about ugly, miserable, moping, Moaning Myrtle?

I’m starting to get behind on NaNo; or rather, I’ve been behind on NaNo for about a week or so now. Last week the chord to my laptop, Moaning Myrtle, broke and I was not able to work on my novel again for another week(when the chord I ordered come in), putting me behind by seven days.

I’m at 17k-ish (I’m too lazy to look up my exact word count). I want to make it to 27k by the end of the day. I think I can do it. Wish me luck!

Oh, here, meet Myrtle:

She’s named Moaning Myrtle for 3 reasons:

1. She moans. I kid you not.

2. She is a ghost. Once again, I am completely serious. She died in the summer of 2007. I mean, totally, completely died. She would not turn on, even after having bought a new battery for her. Just when I thought she was done for, I wake up one morning and she is on and functioning seamlessly; however her screen was black and white and she thought that it was Wednesday December 29, 1969. Soon after she went back to the correct date and colouring, but every once and a while she will switch back.

3. She is blue and silver (kind of), which are the Ravenclaw house colours in the film versions of Harry Potter.

Anyway, off to write 10k for my NaNo!

p.s. The Twilight movie was better than expected.
